Odom Declares Candidacy
Jerry Odom, a technology consultant, has announced his plans to enter the 2009 Mayoral race.

Odom believes his experience in the business sector is what the city needs during this difficult economic time.
He says if elected, he would govern with a common sense approach and be held accountable. His campaign slogan is, "It's time we elect a leader of the people, for the people."

Odom joins former Omaha Mayor Hal Daub as the only two people who have officially declared their intentions for the 2009 Mayoral race.
