Overview: James Austin drifted out of the 60's folk scene to California and eventually into the Texas "outlaw" movement. His music has been described as "Goerge Jones smooth with John Prine wit". He has shared the stage with such acts as Jackson Browne, Hoyt Axton, Waylon & Willie and many more. Now living in the East Tennessee Smoky Mountains, he has just released his second solo album titled "Rounders & Rogues" featuring the song "Seems Like 'American' Is Gone" which is gathering considerable regional success. He will soon be on a North and Southeast tour to promote the new album.
